Sotogrande is one of the most luxurious sports and residential developments in southern Spain. Located within the municipality of San Roque the town is placed at the western end of the province of Andalucia. Visitors travelling by air have the choice of flying into either Gibraltar or Malaga airports.

Covering over 5,000 acres Sotogrande boasts a number of world class golf clubs (including Vaderrama, Almenara, and Sotogrande courses), a 550 berth marina with sailing club, tennis courts, two paddle clubs, protected wildlife zone (of particular interest to birdwatchers), and various commercial zones. The Santa Maria Polo Club adjoins the development; with its pitches widely regarded as being some of the best in the world.

There is a wonderful beach at Sotogrande, which is well equipped and ideal for families. Thanks to its geographical location near the Strait of Gibraltar it offers the Mediterranean coastline at its doorstep stretching along to the east; while the more dramatic Atlantic shores can be found to the west.

Well known for its mild climate, this is an ideal destination for holiday makers in both the summer and winter seasons. The coastline is sheltered by hills and high mountains; allowing for a micro climate of sorts. This limits rainfall, and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 300 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F).

Torreguadiaro is located right next to Exclusive Puerto Sotogrande and has excellent sea views. Having recently undergone extensive improvement works, the area has appreciated substantially and homes some of the finest restaurants and shops in the whole Sotogrande area.
